Revelation: All Things New
Fears about the future run rampant in our day. But for a Christian the future is not dark and foreboding. Neither is it empty and pointless. God is our future. He is going to fight for his people, right every wrong, and make all things new. We will see him fully. We will be healed completely. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. If God is our future, then we are not afraid of our future; we are in love with our future. God gives us the book of Revelation not just so we can die well someday, but so that we can live well today as we eagerly wait for what he has promised. Knowing the future makes a big difference today.
