What Is UR Kids Next?

A discipleship-focused ministry for 5th and 6th graders, designed to help preteens grow spiritually, build meaningful friendships, and discover where they belong in our church community.

When Do We Meet?

UR Kids Next begins the weekend after Labor Day.
We meet three Sundays a month during the sermon portion of service.
Kids check in, then attend worship with their families in the main service.
After the offering, they are dismissed to their UR Kids Next classroom.
On 5th Sundays, students remain in the full service with their families.
One Sunday each month is dedicated to serving somewhere in the church body.
We take breaks on major holiday weekends and during the summer.

What Will They Do?

Social time to connect with friends

A group Bible/book discussion

A small group breakout for deeper conversation and personal application

What Else Is Happening?

Wednesday Night Hangouts

Once a month, 6:45–8:15 PM

We meet at a nearby host home – featuring dinner, games, and community.

Also…

Participation in the Christmas Program, occasional service projects, and a possible retreat later in the year.

UR Kids Next invites every preteen to own their faith and find their place – we can’t wait to start this journey with them.
