Helpful Hand Team
The Helpful Hand Team exists to be a means of encouragement and relief by providing minor home repair services and help with moving. Home projects could include light carpentry, painting, lawn care or household maintenance. If you need assistance, please fill out the application form.
Annual Community Events
Hope & Help Resource Fair
On the third Saturday in June discover a wealth of free resources, including groceries, housing assistance, employment opportunities, mental health support, immigration, legal resources and more! Plus, enjoy a complimentary lunch.
August School Supply Giveaway
Our School Supplies Giveaway on the third Saturday in August equips the children and families we serve with the tools they need for a strong start to the school year.
UR Fall Fest
An annual event hosted by Urban Refuge, featuring a petting zoo, bounce houses, games and food.
Christmas Toy and Coat Drive
Our Toy and Coat Giveaway shares Christmas joy the third Saturday in December by providing gifts to the children and families we serve.
