Community Engagement
We love the community where God has placed us and enjoy being part of it. Some of our involvement includes:
The Picnic in the Park
A Hale Page Diamond Lake Community Association event. UR hosts various games and activities at the annual festival.
Nokomis Farmer’s Market
A weekly event throughout the summer months. UR volunteers serve at the event.
UR Fall Fest
An annual event hosted by Urban Refuge, featuring a petting zoo, bounce houses, games and food.
Mercy Ministry
The Drop-In Center is a weekly ministry that helps our neighbors access resources and enjoy a hot meal. Once a month, we will have a Pop-Up Pantry, providing free groceries and personal hygiene items for anyone in need.
