Our vision for Young Adults.

We desire UR Young Adults to be more than just a group or bible study, but a community of individuals doing life together and growing in faith and their relationship with Jesus Christ. We also want it to be a space where people can explore their faith, be discipled, and be encouraged in their giftings so that they can confidently step into the areas God has called them to be and serve. Whether you have known God your entire life or don’t know Him at all, the hope is this is a community where you can belong and see Him in everything we do.

When & where does the group meet?

Our Young Adults group offers two meaningful opportunities to grow in faith, build community, and navigate life with purpose: **UR Bridge** (ages 18-24) and **Bi-Weekly Young Adults Study** (open to all YAs).

UR Bridge (ages 18-24)

Every Second Saturday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Meets mid-September – mid-May

UR Bridge is a monthly gathering designed for young adults navigating the transition between high school and adulthood. We focus on connecting faith with real life, building relationships, and creating a space where authenticity and growth are valued. Come for conversation, connection, and community.

Bi-Weekly Young Adults Study (open to all YAs)

Every other Thursday, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Meets mid-September – mid-May

Each meeting, we dive into God’s Word together through various studies aimed at building a strong foundation of faith. As we grow in our understanding, we also grow in relationship with one another and with God. This is a space for real questions, honest conversations, and meaningful spiritual growth.

The Young Adults group looks to serve those between the ages of 18-32. Why the big age gap? Well, honestly, we believe it could be a little bigger! And while we know that there are so many different stages of life in these age groups (college, careers, single, marriage, missions overseas, etc.), we know that if there’s one thing this time is filled with, it’s change. Having a community that supports you, prays with you, and walks with you can be vital during those changes. We desire to be just that.
We also recognize that a lot can be learned from one another in a group with people in different life stages and value the wisdom that comes from many perspectives. And if you are on the fringes of the age range above and feel like you could benefit from our community, know you are more than welcome to join!
If you are wondering if this group is for you, it probably is!
We use various tools for our Sunday studies to learn more about God's word and deepen our understanding of it. From exploring books of the bible with one another, to video series, discipleship books, Sunday message discussions, and passages of scripture that coincide with specific themes. These are followed up by small or large group discussions about what we heard and how it applies to our everyday lives.
Of course! There are many options to connect with the Young Adults group outside of the Thursday study, including fellowship events, conferences, discipleship opportunities, our annual retreat, and service opportunities.
